Gynecologic Care
Many visits to nurse-midwives are for gynecologic care. This includes annual check ups, pap smears, breast exams, contraceptive prescriptions, family planning counseling, problem visits and more.

Mammograms
A mammogram test looks for lumps or abnormalities in a woman's breast. It is recommended that women over age 40 get a mammogram every one to two years.
Breast Self Exam
